getting help & care

Our desire is to walk alongside those who are experiencing difficult life situations, whether physical, financial, spiritual or emotional. And we believe relationship is the best context in which to do that. Help and care is available in various ways:

Pastoral Care

The pastor and elders of Trinity Rivertowns are available for counseling and prayer. They are also happy to discuss questions of faith and practice and ways you can engage in the life of the congregation.

Please contact Pastor Jim Kirk.

Mercy Team

The women and men of the Mercy Team are constantly working to help our people during times of physical and financial difficulty. They are ready to aid those struggling to pay for rent, food, counseling, medical care and other expenses. The Team is also ready to help in other areas, including budgeting and basic life skills, taxes and even moving. A team member will spend a lot of time praying with you and assesing how the church can best help you.

If you are in need of help, contact Rob Nelson.

Professional Counseling

In certain cases, professional and clinical care is helpful to address specific life issues. After an initial visit with a pastor, we would be happy to give you a referal to Redeemer Counseling Services, the Greenwich Center for Hope and Renewal, or other trusted counselors.

Please contact Pastor Jim Kirk.
